MDF
Standard MDF
A consistent, economical sheet for painted parts, templates, prototypes, display elements and many dry indoor applications.
Common quoted thicknesses: 6, 9, 12 and 18 mm.
Materials
MDF, moisture-resistant MDF and structural plywood in practical workshop sizes.
Standard quoted work uses known sheet materials in 6, 9, 12 and 18 mm nominal thicknesses. Other thicknesses or grades can be reviewed before quoting.
MR MDF
Moisture-resistant MDF
Useful where greater moisture resistance is appropriate, while still requiring correct sealing, finishing and use for the final environment.
Common quoted thicknesses: 6, 9, 12 and 18 mm.
Plywood
Structural plywood
Layered construction provides strength and visible edges, but face appearance, voids, warp and thickness can vary by grade and sheet.
Common quoted thicknesses: 6, 9, 12 and 18 mm.

Moisture-resistant does not mean waterproof.MR MDF still needs suitable design, sealing and finishing. The finished-product owner is responsible for confirming that the selected material and finish suit the intended environment.
Plywood is naturally variable.Face patches, colour, grain, voids, warp and local thickness variation can occur. The quotation can specify an inspection or selection level where appearance matters.
Workshop envelope
Stock size and usable area
The maximum accepted stock size is 1220 × 1220 mm. The largest finished part is smaller because clamps, hold-down, cutter clearance and edge quality need space. Send the actual part size rather than assuming the whole sheet is usable.
