Prototype the complete play loop

Ask a representative user to set up, play or interact, return every loose component to storage and repack the product. Observe where pieces are difficult to grip, rules are unclear, engraving is hidden or the board moves. Record the actual finish state: raw pocket clearance may not represent painted, lined or sealed geometry.

If children may use the product, the seller must assess small parts, foreseeable misuse, finish, instructions and applicable rules with competent guidance. Calling it a family game does not remove those responsibilities. Keep age or safety claims out of the listing until they are supported.

Also test completeness as a quality characteristic. Define the exact count and identity of boards, counters, pegs, cards, hardware and instructions per retail unit. Photograph one approved packed set before closure. For repeat batches, reconcile the CNC part count with seller-supplied pieces so a visually perfect board is not shipped as an unusable incomplete game.

Personalisation needs its own proof boundary. A name, date or motif may change engraving length, balance and inspection effort even when the board outline stays fixed. Define the permitted artwork area, rights-cleared fonts and customer approval view. Keep the personalised order reference linked to the stable board revision so one spelling correction cannot accidentally create a new manufacturing master.
