Request a project quote

Send your project for a practical production review.

Provide the information you have. A drawing, file, sketch, photograph, set of dimensions or 3D model can start the conversation. Any missing production details will be identified before quoting.

What type of project is this?

1. Project type (required)

Choose the closest route. A service-page choice is only a starting point and can be changed here.

2. Your details
3. The part or project
Describe the part or module, what it is for and what would make the result acceptable.
Rough information is enough to begin. Include units.
For example: one prototype followed by 24 parts, or two modules.
4. CNC-routing requirements
Identify any opening, hole, slot, pocket, edge or overall dimension that must fit another item.
4. Functional 3D-prototype requirements
What must the prototype prove? *

Choose every point that applies.

What design information currently exists? *
Include any expected heat, outdoor use, load, flexibility, contact surface or other condition that may affect the prototype material or print orientation. Wood to Spec does not certify the prototype for those conditions.
Identify any opening, fixing, component, control or mating surface that must be checked physically.
4. Supply-only cabinetry requirements
Business and trade supply onlyThis is a supply-only service for business and trade customers. Wood to Spec does not provide site surveys, site measurement, scribing, fitting or installation.
Start with sizes and layoutFor normal Wood to Spec construction, you do not need to create production files. Supply the required sizes, layout and finish information and Wood to Spec will prepare the manufacturing files and approval drawing. Files or detailed construction drawings are only required where the project differs from normal construction or contains non-standard geometry, hardware or assembly requirements.
What is required? *
Preferred supply format *
Provide the required overall width, height and depth, along with the intended shelf, door, opening or internal layout. Include any known clearances or delivery constraints. Rough information can begin the enquiry; final production will use the approved drawing and dimensions.
Does the construction differ from normal Wood to Spec construction? *
Include any required joint, panel arrangement, hardware pattern, special profile, unusual geometry or assembly method. Upload a drawing or file where one already exists.
Include assembled size, fragile elements, access constraints, packaging and whether specialist delivery may be required.
4. Mixed-process or uncertain project
Use this when the common project description does not fully explain the route or production question.
5. Files and commercial details
Optional. Attach one PDF, DXF, SVG, JPG, PNG, ZIP, STEP, STP, STL, 3MF or OBJ file up to 7 MB, or use the secure share-link field.Files are optional for normal Wood to Spec construction. Upload a drawing or model when the project uses a non-standard construction method, custom geometry, special hardware arrangement or other specific detail.
Paste a complete HTTPS link you control. Use this for multiple files, files over 7 MB or another permitted CAD format.
State an existing NDA, pending patent or design application, photography restriction, ownership or assignment requirement, requested exclusivity, marketing restriction, non-use requirement, packaging need or repeat-order condition.
Confidentiality and exclusivity

Wood to Spec does not intentionally share one customer’s confidential project files or customer-specific information with another customer. General manufacturing techniques, workshop methods, construction methods and mechanical principles are not exclusive unless a separate written restriction is agreed before work begins. Similar requirements can independently lead different customers or designers to similar solutions.

Identify any NDA, exclusivity, ownership or special non-use requirement before sharing particularly sensitive information or commissioning development work.

A restriction becomes binding only where it is expressly accepted in writing. Read the relevant Terms section.

Nothing typed into this form is retained by the enquiry service if you leave without submitting. When you press “Request a project quote”, the submitted details and any attachment are stored for review, including when validation or later processing fails and you need to correct or retry the request.

No work begins until the written quotation and applicable approval details are accepted. A 50% deposit is required when the quotation is accepted; the remaining balance is due before dispatch.

Send the drawing, file or sketch you already have.

We will review the practical details and tell you what is needed for a reliable quote.
