Start with an idea, sketch or production file.

This is a practical review, not a commitment to order. Explain what the part needs to do and include the information you already know.

  • Incomplete is fine at enquiry. Missing decisions will be identified before a quote.
  • No machining starts from this form. Feasibility, scope and price are reviewed first.
  • Files remain untrusted until reviewed. Do not upload passwords, payment details or unrelated personal information.
30–3,000 charactersFor projects, unknown technical details can be reviewed later.
Add dimensions, quantity and material

Quantities above 50 can be reviewed, but the service is intended for prototypes and smaller production runs rather than high-volume manufacturing.

MDF, MR MDF and structural plywood are the standard materials. Other sheet materials may be considered for suitable projects but are not part of the standard offering.

Routine drawings and reference files may be attached or supplied through a file-share link. For commercially sensitive designs, submit an initial description without the sensitive file. A suitable transfer method can then be agreed during the review. Links are reviewed manually and are never fetched automatically.

PDF, DXF, SVG, JPG or PNG only. Maximum 7 MB. Uploads are not treated as safe until reviewed.

Wood to Spec is operated by JLTG Designs Ltd. Information submitted through this form is handled as described in the privacy notice. By sending this enquiry, you ask Wood to Spec to review and respond to your project; this is not marketing consent. The CNC service terms explain the review and approval process.

A reply is normally sent within 1–2 working days. This is an initial response target, not a production lead time. No production work begins until the project scope, price and approval requirements have been agreed.
